November 30 designated #ChooseWOMENWednesday

Updated

You know of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday -- but do you know what the Wednesday after Thanksgiving is?

We'll tell you! Wednesday, November 30 has officially been designated #ChooseWOMENWednesday by the Women's Entrepreneurship Day (WED) organization.

To recognize the day, WED is launching a new site to support women in business. Visit choosewomen.org and search by category, brand or location to find over 70 retailers that have joined WED in support of the initiative.

Some of the participating retailers include Bobbi Brown, Coach, Spanx, Lilly Pulitzer, Cynthia Rowley, The Limited, and many more.

If you missed out on shopping over the holiday weekend, now's the perfect chance.

When you make a purchase through the portal, a percentage of the sale will fund microloans to help impoverished women around the world start their own businesses.

Sounds like a no-brainer to us. Plus, there's nothing like giving back, especially around the holidays!
