Clinton wins Guam, predictor of every presidential race since 1980

The U.S. territory of Guam has chosen Hillary Clinton in a landslide, reports The Hill.

This year, over 32,000 people turned in ballots. Roughly 71% voted for Clinton, while about 24% opted for Donald Trump.

Emidio Soltysik, the sole third party candidate on the ballot, came in with just over 4%.

Notably, Guam has no Electoral College members, so the results cannot be applied towards the "race to 270."

Though votes cast by residents of Guam, who are U.S. citizens, don't officially count, they have been a reliable predictor of election results since 1980.

The only interruption occurred in 1996, when voting was delayed due to a typhoon.
