Uber is delivering Cubs World Series championship gear right to your door

Unless you've been able to avoid society, television and the internet completely in the past 24 hours, you know that history was made on Wednesday night when the Chicago Cubs won the World Series for the first time in a whopping 108 years.

Fans (and bandwagoners) all around the country are celebrating – and with good reason!

There seems to be no better way to show your support and pride than by sporting Cubs official championship gear. The limited supply and long store lines, however, will make it close to impossible to guarantee you can get your hands on the merchandises (especially if you're in the Chicago area.)

Fear not – Uber is here to save the day.

Beginning at 10 am CST on Thursday, Cubs fans can order a World Series championship hat or t-shirt ($28 each) through the app and have it delivered to them in minutes.

Uber is partnering up with online retailer Fanatics, who will be supplying the gear.

The app will display a "CHAMPS" option on the screen where users can click and order.

Fly the W, Cubs!
