Lindsay Lohan is speaking in a strange new accent

Updated

Lindsay Lohan has a history of surprises, but this one seems especially bizarre. The Mean Girls actress seems to have adopted some sort of accent that no one can place.

In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, Lohan spoke to reporters in an English-Irish-Euro-British-accent that has everyone in awe.

The 30-year-old somewhat acknowledged her altered dialect during the interview, claiming that she's traveled the world and is a mix of Italian and Irish.

She also took to Twitter asking the publication, "Daily Mail U-K, what should I call my new accent? I'm think #lilohan."

Whatever it may be, Lindsay isn't the first celeb to change her tone. She joins the likes of celebs such as Madonna and Lady Gaga, both of whom people have heard speak and said, "Wait, what?!"

The whole thing is out of nowhere, but maybe Lindsay Lohan is just trying to audition for a wider area of roles.
