Tobey Maguire lists his Spanish-style estate in Santa Monica

It doesn't take Spidey sense to know this home's special. Spider-Man actor Tobey Maguire has just listed his three-bedroom, three-bathroom home for sale in Santa Monica, CA, and it's truly a one-of-a-kind property. Tobey set the price of his 1920s bungalow at $2.995 million. In true Hollywood house-flipping style, he hasn't owned the property for all that long — he just bought it last year for $2.675 million.

Check out the sun-drenched pad in the slideshow below:

Architect Ruben Ojeda transformed the 2,401-square-foot 1927 bungalow, adding a second story and raising the ceiling to 22 feet. Tucked away on a beautiful, tree-lined street, the Spanish-style home maintains the classic qualities of its early days, fused with modern amenities necessary for today. Natural light streams in through large doors and windows, while hardwood floors add a warm, comfortable tone. In the separate 1,200-square-foot studio designed by Koning Eizenberg Architecture, there's plenty of room for anything from an art studio to a home office. High ceilings are complemented by a wall of windows, making it an inspiring, clean space for creativity to flow. A third structure on the property is currently serving as a gym (Spider-Man needs to pump iron, of course) but allows plenty of room for improvisation.

Despite the recent announcement that Tobey and wife Jennifer Meyer are splitting, the actor won't be homeless. He's a seasoned house flipper, having sold the $10.25 million Los Angeles, CA, estate he shared with Jennifer in 2015. (Coincidentally, that property previously belonged to everyone from Ricki Lake to Courteney Cox, according to the Daily Mail.) If he doesn't have another property lined up, he could always crash with his longtime BFF Leonardo DiCaprio, who buys and sells properties like they're hotcakes. But Tobey also owns a $10 million vacant lot in the ritzy LA suburb of Brentwood, in case he feels like building a new home from scratch. Now that's one pricey plot!
