EXCLUSIVE: Mariah Carey 'demanding' ex James Packer pay for leased mansion and her new home
This split is becoming a bit messy.
As the fallout from Mariah Carey's breakup with her billionaire ex-fiance, James Packer, continues, a source close to the pair tells ET that the "Vision of Love" singer has outlined a few demands.
"Mariah is demanding that James continue to pay out the remainder of their Calabasas, California, rental home together," the source says. "Additionally, Mariah is also demanding that James take care of her next move in real estate as part of negotiations."

The source adds that "part of the reason for this is that Mariah lost wages from canceling a leg of her tour recently and originally moved her family from New York to Los Angeles," noting that Mariah is still currently living in the Calabasas rental as she looks for a new home with real estate agent Emil Hartoonian, from luxury brokerage, The Agency.

In January, ET confirmed that Carey and Packer were paying around $250,000 a month (or $3 million a year) on the lease for their 18,000- square-foot mansion in Calabasas.

Meanwhile, a source close to Carey tells ET that she's taking the split pretty hard, but is "putting on a brave face."
"Mariah is traumatized by all of this but is putting on a brave face," the source adds. "She never meant to fall for James."
Carey's rep exclusively confirmed to ET last Thursday that the 46-year-old singer and Packer were on a break after getting into a fight during their vacation in Greece last month. A source later told ET the two had broken up, while another source shared that they are "very unlikely to work things out." However, the source also noted that Carey's backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka -- who has been the subject of rumors that Carey cheated on Packer -- is not the cause of Carey and Packer's relationship troubles.

"The backup dancer and Mariah are just close friends," the source explained. "He is not a reason for any issues between Mariah and James. It's no secret that Mariah loves having a big entourage around."

Despite all the drama, Carey was out and about over Halloween weekend. The singer ditched her engagement ring on Saturday, as she and a group of people, including Tanaka, arrived at celeb hot spot Catch LA.
Carey and Tanaka were also spotted at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California, last week, where she rocked a super-revealing black top that bared her bra, and skintight red leather pants.
