This woman's Halloween costume is tripping the Internet out

Every year for Halloween, people come up with original -- and sometimes freaky -- ideas for costumes. This woman's make-up certainly falls in both categories.

Reddit user psycho_jelly shared a photo of her make-up:

"I was an acid trip for Halloween," she said.

Some appreciated the effort -- and thought that the make-up was well done and terrifying. "Two drinks in and I would be totally freaking out," one user said.

Others, however, doubt the "authenticity" of the costume. Another user commented, "I've done acid a bunch of times and never saw anything like this." Someone else came to the woman's defense, saying that these hallucinations differ from person to person.

Regardless, it's hard to deny that the make-up is well done -- and makes for a great costume.
