Woman uses government credit card for dog tuxedo

A woman in Arkansas had access to a government credit card and decided to give in to temptation, making a few extra purchases.

Perhaps she didn't totally think through the fact that purchasing a dog tuxedo would be a red flag to auditors.

After all, the President's dog doesn't even wear tuxedos!

Kristi Goss worked as an administrative assistant for Arkansas judge Rick Davis. One of her duties was to pay the credit card bill. Since she had the number, she took it upon herself to buy a few extra things.

Her spending spree began in 2012 and ran until 2016. According to audit reports, Goss has spent upward of 200,000 dollars on all kinds of fun things.

She dropped $89 for sequined pillows and $130 for a diamond bracelet. The latter sounds like she must have gotten ripped off, $130 doesn't exactly sound like real diamonds.

That's beside the point.

She was also using the card to pay regular bills. A total of $4,400 was spent on her electric bill, and $4,900 for her cell phone.

Goss could face up to 100 years in jail, but luckily she will have memories of her dog in a tuxedo to keep her company.
