Classic arcade game perfect for football fans

This 8-bit blast into the past of American football and video games is just what you need for a throwback gaming session. For some older gamers, Tecmo Bowl was their first introduction to side-scroller football. Most of the excitement came from shaking off tackles by moving the D-pad left and right. Although the game couldn't use official NFL team names, they did use real players like Jerry Rice.

It may not have insane graphics or features of today's modern game play but Tecmo Bowl is the perfect example of a classic arcade game that will never get old. Pro tip, just toss the ball to number 34 and he will find the end-zone no matter what because Bo knows scoring.

Take a look at the video for a glimpse into the old gaming world and enjoy!
