Nicole Curtis talks 'Rehab Addict,' giving back and her debut book 'Better Than New'

Nicole Curtis, whose hit HGTV show "Rehab Addict" has been on for a remarkable seven seasons, is unapologetic in her approach to renovating houses her way and her way only. At the same time, she's also insistent that being a "maker," as she calls it, requires an inherent willingness to give back to her community.

That's why, in partnership with blowtorch makers Bernzomatic, Curtis is helping to give away $38,000 to a community-minded project as part of the Find Your Fire Community Grants Program, which you can find out more about here.

In addition to giving back, the "Rehab Addict" -- yes, she realizes how the name of her show initially sounds -- is also ready to publish her first book, Better Than New, which will impart lessons that she has learned throughout her years of experience in renovating houses as a real estate expert.
