Arnold Schwarzenegger writes emotional post to his love child, Joseph Baena

Arnold Schwarzenegger took Oktoberfest by storm this year -- but the beer is making him a little emotional.

The "Terminator" star took his love child son, Joseph Baena, to the beer festival in Munich, Germany, in order to celebrate Baena's 19th birthday on Sunday.

Schwarzenegger posted a fun photo of the pair of them wearing matching traditional lederhosen and raising their steins -- smiles and all -- at the festival, but it was his emotional message that had people talking. He captioned the pic,"Happy birthday, Joseph. Great student, great athlete. I'm proud of you and I love you!"

Schwarzenegger has been spending a lot of time with Baena after they started up a relationship following his split from wife, Maria Shriver. The news that he had fathered a child outside of their marriage came out when they separated.

Last year, the 69-year-old actor opened up about his relationship with his kid, whose mother is Schwarzenegger's former housekeeper Mildred Baena. He said he's grateful for how understanding and patient his son is.
"He's terrific and he totally understands the situation," the actor and former California governor told Howard Stern. "So, it all has worked out ... It's a very tough situation for him. It's a very tough situation for my kids, very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody. But it has happened and now we have to figure it out, right?"

And it looks like they're having a blast while they figure it out!
