Linda Tripp makes bombshell statement about Monica Lewinsky's safety

As Donald Trump continues to threaten using former President Bill Clinton's infamous affair as ammunition in the presidential race, one woman isn't holding back.

Linda Tripp, the woman who exposed Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky, is speaking out regarding the decades-old scandal. In a radio interview, Tripp delivered a chilling message to Breitbart's Aaron Klein.

Tripp told the reporter, "I say today and I will continue to say, that I believe Monica Lewinsky is alive today because of choices I made and action I took."

She went on to say that she believed her and Lewinsky's lives were in danger because, with the Clintons, "nothing stands in the way of these people achieving their political ends."

Back in 1998 Tripp worked at the Pentagon, befriending then White House intern Lewinsky. Tripp secretly recorded their conversations in which Lewinsky detailed her affairs with the President.

At the time Tripp was heavily criticized for releasing the tapes, with critics saying she had been motivated by money.

Also in the interview Tripp goes on to criticize Hillary Clinton's "cavalier, loosey-goosey" attitude with sensitive information while she worked for the Clintons in the 90's.
