Bucks owner calls Milwaukee the 'most racist, segregated' place he's ever experienced
The Milwaukee Bucks president laid it all out there last week when talking to a Rotary Club in Madison, Wis.
The Milwaukee Bucks are in the midst of building a new arena that is set to open in 2018 and not all of the money is coming out of the pocket of team president Peter Feigin. Instead, $250 million will be coming from taxpayers.

So, Feigin recently saying "Milwaukee is the the most segregated, racist place I've ever experienced in my life" while speaking to a Rotary Club in Madison, Wisc. seems a little surprising.
With that being said, the Bucks and Feigin see the new arena as a way to help Milwaukee as stated in the Milwaukee Business Journal:
The Bucks organization has been pro-active in requiring its construction contractors to hire Milwaukee city and Milwaukee County residents, as required by the team's development agreement with the city and the requirements for projects in the Park East corridor land the Bucks bought from Milwaukee County. The Bucks also agreed to pay wages of at least $12 per hour— escalating to $15 by 2023 — for service-sector jobs at the new arena and related facilities and hire union-represented employees and union-signatory subcontractors.
It has been nearly two months since a black man was shot and killed by a police officer during a traffic stop in Milwaukee.
