Samantha Bee rips 'projectile-lying' Donald Trump for treating former Miss Universe 'like garbage'

Samantha Bee pulled no punches during a special Wednesday edition of "Full Frontal," when she picked apart Donald Trump's first presidential debate performance.

She started off by critiquing the "very occasional presence" of debate moderator Lester Holt. "To be fair, it's a nearly impossible job even when one of the candidates isn't projectile-lying in your face all night," Bee said.

She then began tearing apart Trump, beginning with his very light debate prep compared to Hillary Clinton's extensive preparation.

"She spent months building an elaborate trap for Trump and he lumbered right into it," Bee said. "All she had to do was step out of the way while he called a woman fat." The comedian is referring to former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who claims Trump referred to her as "Miss Piggy."

Trump did, in fact, double down on the comments the following day on "Fox & Friends." When asked about Machado, he said she "gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem."

Bee added: "No, you had a stunningly beautiful Miss Universe winner and you treated her like garbage. Now you have a real problem, not only with her but with every woman who's ever been called fat — which is all of us!"

Bee then inserted a picture of a large number of her female staffers giving Donald Trump the one-finger victory salute with their middle fingers.
