'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' full-length trailer offers first look at magical creatures (Video)

The first "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" full-length trailer definitely does not skimp on the magical creatures.

The trailer gives us our first look at just some of the strange beings that wizard/cryptozoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) brings with him to 1920's New York.

But when some of the creatures escape, Scamander must team up with two American witch sisters and one muggle (or "no maj" as they're called in America) and find them before anything bad happens.

The film also stars Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, and Colin Farrell. J.K. Rowling wrote the screenplay for the film, which is set in the same universe as "Harry Potter." David Yates, who directed the last four "Harry Potter" films, is directing this project.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will enchant theaters on Nov. 18.
