Do you actually like the taste of black coffee? Is your cocktail of choice a gin and tonic? Well, according to new research, this may mean you're a psychopath.

Scientists from the University of Austria studied over 1,000 people in two separate experiments and found correlations between their tastebuds and their behavior.

Subjects were asked to rank how much they enjoyed certain foods from a list that included foods like chocolate cake, bacon, radishes and vinegar.

Then they administered four separate personality tests where subjects were asked to state their level of agreement with statements such as, "Given enough provocation, I may hit someone" and, "I tend to manipulate others to get my way."

Researchers found that people with an affinity for bitter tasting foods showed higher tendencies toward sadistic, psychopathic and narcissistic behavior.

They believe the food a person picks from a buffet can be a robust predictor of aggressive and disagreeable behavior.
