Delpozo's Spring/Summer 2017 collection almost seems too good to be true

Updated

Judging by the looks of the Delpozo Spring 2017 collection at Pier 59 studios Wednesday, one word was on Creative Director Josep Font's mind: structure.

In fact, the pieces almost don't look real. It's as if you're still staring at an immaculate sketch, because you can't imagine a garment sitting on someone so perfectly in real life.

See what we're saying?

Stunningly constructed wide-leg and pleated trousers, oversized smock-like tops, flared peplum sleeves and skirts and dresses that made the models look like they belonged on top of a wedding cake defined the collection.

On the other hand, sequined details, subtle (and some not-so-subtle) ties, sateen floral patterns, spiraled ruffles and pops of bright pink and orange completed it.

Oh, and did you see those earrings? We're guessing you did.
