The pumpkin spice flavor season is upon us and companies are taking full advantage.

But did you know most pumpkin spice flavored items don't even contain real pumpkin?

That's right, your favorite pumpkin spice flavor is really a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

In fact, Starbucks used these spices in their infamous PSL until they changed the recipe in 2015 to incorporate "real pumpkin".
