Happy birthday to Salma Hayek!

The Mexican actress turned 50 on Friday, and what better way to celebrate than with a mariachi band?

Hayek, who is currently filming her new movie, Beatriz at Dinner, was greeted on set with a little mariachi performance, organized by the cast and crew.

"Thanks to the production of #beatrizatdinner for receiving me with a #mariachi for my birthday #50," she captioned a video of the sweet surprise.

While Hayek's been hard at work on the film, it seems she was able to get in a little R&R before her big day.

"There is a merman under my swan #swan # summer," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a pic of herself enjoying some time in the pool.

Though the Frida star has never looked better, she recently revealed to ET that's she's not immune to feeling self-conscious.

"I don't always feel I look so amazing," she shared in June, admitting that she has her share of "insecurities, [just] like everyone else!"

But according to Hayek, there's always one person she can count on to make her feel her best: her husband, François-Henri Pinault.

"I still feel a little bit [sexy] because my husband is very good at making me feel like I still got it," she continued. "But it's OK, it's not the most important thing in my life to feel the sexiest."
