Zoe Saldana hits 'Star Trek' red carpet wearing sheer black dress
Zoe Saldana certainly went above and beyond in the name of fashion!
The 38-year-old actress stepped onto the red carpet in Mexico City for the premiere of the latest "Star Trek" installment, "Star Trek Beyond," wearing an incredibly daring number -- and daring may be an understatement.
Saldana wore a head-turning black dress with oddly-placed lace panels and embroidered sequins. She accessorized her risqué look with a leather belt, which showed off her tiny waist, and pointy slingback pumps.

While the sheer panels seems like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, Saldana narrowly avoided any fashion disasters by donning high-wasted briefs in the same color underneath.
To keep all the attention on her bold look, the brunette beauty also opted for minimal makeup -- sans her deep red lip -- and loose waves.
Believe it or not, the A-list celeb is no stranger to taking fashion risks. Earlier this month, she appeared at the U.S. premiere of "Star Trek Beyond" wearing a powder blue lace dress.

And when she's not striking a fierce pose on the red carpet, you can probably find Saldana spending time with her 1-year-old twins, Bowie and Cy.
She recently shared a rare video of her two sons as a tribute to her late "Star Trek Beyond" costar Anton Yelchin, who died in a freak accident in June.

"I'm only posting this dubsmash because Simon Pegg insisted. He reminded me how much the crew laughed when I sent this video. It was over a weekend while we were shooting Star Trek in Vancouver last summer," she captioned the video. "Every time I see all the videos we all did it makes me think of Anton. We hope you get a laugh out of this."
