You won't believe how much these distressed sneakers cost
Sneakers are no longer just what you wear to the gym. They have become an integral part of the fashion world, and can make a huge statement.
This may be why luxury brand Golden Goose has jumped on the trend. The brand released several "distressed" style sneakers to be sold at Barneys for an exuberant cost.
One variety will cost you about $250 -- but that's not all. They range from $250 to over $600. Their pink/suede sneaker -- complete with duck tape -- is one of the most expensive.
The pink sneakers no longer appear on Barneys website, but there are other colors and distressed styles to choose from ... if you can pay the price, that is.

According to Golden Goose, the sneakers are incredibly unique:
Golden Goose creators Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo combine artisan craftsmanship, retro silhouettes and signature distressing techniques to create effortlessly cool sneakers and boots for men and women that are perpetual favorites of the fashion crowd.
Some on social media, however, think otherwise:
Others believe in the brand and its message:
No matter your view, it's undeniable that not everyone will be able to access these prized sneakers.
