Eva Longoria reveals her best fashion secrets

Eva Longoria Spills Deets on New Clothing Line

Eva Longoria knows what she's doing in the fashion department, and she's got the closet to prove it!

The star says that having an organized closet helps her get dressed. Everything in there is organized by color and then by style (like short-sleeve and long-sleeve).

But the actress's wardrobe wasn't always set up like this. Back in 2008, InStyle magazine wanted to do a cover shoot of Eva and her closet. They hired a closet organizer to rearrange her clothes until it looked just right for the shoot. Afterwards, she loved the set-up so much, she kept it that way.

Besides the importance of a pristine closet, Eva believes that every woman should own these four things:

A go-to pair of jeans. We recommend:

A few dresses that go from the office to night. Try:

A great pencil skirt. We're loving:

And most importantly: A pair (or two) of Spanx ($36 at Neiman Marcus for the Power Shorty Shaper).

And as if that wasn't enough style inspiration from the well-dressed star, she has a few final tips that help her make everything she wears -- be it a designer top or an inexpensive dress -- look immaculate.

She recommends avoiding trends and going classic -- a top, jeans and a pair of strappy sandals always looks chic. Also, she makes any outfit look more high end by adding pumps, great accessories or a killer jacket. How is that for some style advice?
