Watch Bristol Motor Speedway transform into a college football stadium
They're calling it "the biggest college football game ever," and they're probably not wrong.
The half-mile racetrack will host nearly 160,000 college football fans for the "Battle at Bristol," a matchup between the Tennessee Volunteers and Virginia Tech Hokies on Sept. 10.
Just days ago, Bristol Motor Speedway remained a renowned racetrack. But within a week, it's now a sprawling football stadium preparing to host one of the largest crowds the game has ever seen. And this amazing time-lapse video shows just how much work went into the transformation.

If the game reaches the expected number of attendees, it would exceed the NCAA college football attendance record by more than 40,000.
