2016 MTV VMA after parties bring out new couples

After the party comes the after party!

The MTV VMAs concluded close to midnight on Sunday at Madison Square Garden and that's when celebs and big names hot-footed it to the nearest after party. After her exciting night receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Rihanna continued the celebration at Club Up and Down and was spotted getting close to her rumored beau, Drake. The duo left the club together, further pointing to the fact that they are a couple.

Club Up and Down was definitely a popular spot. Naomi Campbell, Tyson Beckford, Hailey Baldwin, Stella Maxwell, Halsey and more stars were also hanging out there.

Ariana Grande was also putting her new romance on display and was eyed cozying up to her man Mac Miller at Republic Records After Party. She planted a big kiss on his cheek at one point and looked comfortable in her afterparty look of jean overalls.

Nick and Joe Jonas, Hailee Steinfeld, Casper Smart and more big names were at the Republic Party. Smart, who recently split with J.Lo, was spotted posing for pictures with Steinfeld and making his way around the party.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez was busy partying it up at DJ Khaled's bash at Marquee New York. She was spotted hanging out with several of her pals and she also look smoking hot! The songbird was rocking a sparkling, sequined minidress.

We guess looking good is the best cure for breakup blues.
