Michael Phelps reveals song he was listening to when he made Phelps face at Olympics
Michael Phelps finally revealed what song he was listening to when he looked like he was ready to punch someone ahead of his race at the Olympics.... drumroll, please!
It was Future's "Stick Talk."
Phelps stopped by the 2016 MTV VMAs on Sunday at Madison Square Garden and as he introduced Future's performance, he told the crowd that Future is one of his favorite artists and that his music helps him get pumped up ahead of races.
Clearly that was evident after the decorated Olympian became a meme sensation after he was spotted mean-mugging ahead of his 200 meter butterfly semifinal, with rival Olympian Chad le Clos just a few feet away from him. South Africa's Le Clos, was shadowboxing as his own preparation, but Phelps' face was the main attraction.
