Rescued bear cub finds loving home after dangerous journey

For little bear cub Sammy, the road home was a dangerous one, but oh so worth it!

Sammy, a 7 month old cub who was living in an illegal market, was rescued by the LAO Wildlife Centre.

At first, she was very afraid of humans, but soon warmed up to them and can be seen sporting a huge grin in photos.

Her face surely shows how much she loves her new home, but it wasn't easy getting there.

What should've been a one day trip turned into a very dangerous four days, due to typhoons and flooding.

Thankfully everyone made it home safely and Sammy couldn't be happier!
