Netflix just announced its fall comedy special lineup
Netflix has successfully hopped on the comedy train, with stand-up specials from the talented minds of Hannibal Buress, Ali Wong, and John Mulaney — among many others — receiving much critical acclaim for the streaming network. Expanding its comedic slate even further, Netflix has just unveiled the official fall schedule for stand-up specials. For September, Cedric the Entertainer: Live From the Ville is slated for release; while Russell Peters: Almost Famous and Joe Rogan: Triggered are scheduled for October. November is full of Saturday Night Live talent, with Dana Carvey:Straight White Male, 60, Colin Quinn:The New York Story, and Michael Che Matters set to premiere. (A battle of the Weekend Update hosts, eh?) Rounding out the end of the year is Reggie Watts: Spatial and Gabriel lglesias: I'm Sorry for What I Said When I Was Hungry debuting in December.
