People are raving about this one tried and true ingredient that is known to leave your skin looking better than ever.
Activated charcoal is what is used in water filters to attract water's impurities and works similarly with your pores.
The activated charcoal acts like a magnet that pulls toxins, dirt and oil from pores, while still exercising antibacterial properties and being gentle on skin.
There are many great charcoal cleansers out there, but if you want to save some money try this easy, inexpensive DIY activated charcoal recipe at home.
Mix the following in a bowl:
1 tsp or 5 tablets of activated charcoal
1 tbsp baking soda which is a natural exfoliant
1/4 cup unscented Pure-Castile soap which works as a cleansing agent
