Mom makes college-bound son an epic cardboard cutout of dog

What college kids miss most about home is very rarely Mom and Dad. Often times, it's either food, or more frequently, it's the dog.

But one kid is basically bringing his dog with him. @Jostrowski decided he couldn't leave home without his four-legged best friend, so his mom decided to print a life-sized cutout of the golden retriever for his dorm.

The tweet has blown up on social media. It has nearly 6,000 retweets by students returning to school, wondering why they didn't think of this ingenious idea.
