Police say her blood alcohol content was .26, which is more than three times the legal limit.
Duval is being held on $5,000 cash bond, and she is set to appear back in court on August 23rd.
Duval was charged with second degree murder after a fight broke out between her and her sister while driving, causing the car plummet down a Maui cliffside.
A judge ruled there wasn't enough probable cause to support the charges against Alexandria.
