Shemar Moore wishes Thomas Gibson 'nothing but the best' following actor's firing from 'Criminal Minds'
Shemar Moore insists there's no bad blood between him and former Criminal Minds co-star Thomas Gibson.
A day after posting (and then deleting) a cryptic Instagram video in which he spoke out about "karma" -- believed to be about Gibson's recent firing from the CBS show -- Moore has spoken out.
"They spun that all wrong," Moore told a paparazzo on his way to a workout on Tuesday.
"It could've been [about] the guy from the lawsuit," he added, "but mostly it's about life."
Moore, of course, was referring to the other scandal to come from the Criminal Minds set last week. On Friday it was revealed that the 46-year-old actor had been robbed of more than $60,000 by a former guest actor on the hit CBS series. According to documents obtained by ET, Keith Tisdell, 42, was convicted on charges that he stole money from Moore, and had agreed to repay the funds to Moore's charity, Baby Girl LLC.

In the Instagram video posted on Monday, Moore mentioned "gossip" going around.
"Lot of birdies chirping out there. The gossip is real," he said in the video. "I hear it. I see it. I'm sure a lot of you do too."
"So I'll just say this -- I believe in karma," he continued. "Good things happen to good people. Honest people. Hardworking people. Humble people. People who believe in goodness. People who believe in themselves. People that believe in others. Good things will happen to you... Treat people how you expect them to treat you."
Just three days earlier, it was revealed that Gibson had been fired from Criminal Minds after allegedly kicking a writer in the leg over "creative differences."
"I wish Thomas nothing but the best," Moore stated on Tuesday, setting the record straight.
Moore also left the (elevator) door open for his return to the series. "They didn't kill me," he reminds fans. "I always say, 'The elevator doors closed. They can always open again.'"
While Moore left the series on amicable terms, the same doesn't seem to be true for Gibson, who despite his comments about "loving the show," has since hired a lawyer.
Skip Miller of Los Angeles-based law firm Miller Barondess confirmed to ET last week that his firm will be representing Gibson.
