Emergency officials began looking for Jordan Ann Dumont after she disappeared from her house on Monday.
She and her mother's boyfriend, William McCullen, took a nap that afternoon, and when he woke up, he said the child was missing and the front door was open.
At a press conference Monday evening, authorities said they would keep looking with highway patrol's helicopter, four wheelers and K-9 Units.
According to WCCB, McCullen has been charged with 1st degree murder.
