Blake Shelton probably thought he'd seen the last of these!

The country crooner has remained relatively scandal-free in his career, but his spotless persona is no longer after followers unearthed questionable, eyebrow-raising tweets that the singer purportedly tweeted in 2009.

Screenshots of the alleged tweets, which have racist, homophobic and mysoginistic undertones, were shared by the Twitter accounts @TheMusicTea.

The singer also admitted to having a "sick fantasy" about a then-16-year-old Dakota Fanning.

"Sooo... I just figured out a great excuse for my sick fantasy about Dakota Fanning. I thought she was Amanda Seyfried... " he wrote in 2010.

While the screengrabs aren't verified, tweets still active on Shelton's Twitter account reflect some of the same attitudes.

Needless to say, reactions on Twitter were not pretty.

While many fans were outraged, others defended "The Voice" coach's "humor," claiming he has changed.

Changed man or not, we definitely think an explanation is due!
