After they remixed Adam Lambert's hit "Ghost Town" in 2015, EDM production duo Tritonal approached the singer about a collaboration. Lambert agreed, calling it a "no-brainer." "Broken," the first single off Tritonal's upcoming album, Painting with Dreams, was released on Friday (Aug. 12), the same day the album was made available for preorder.

The single features production elements from Jenaux, including quivery synths and a thumping bass line as well as Lambert's signature lofty wails. Lambert is currently touring as Queen's lead singer and will play the reimagined part of Eddie in Fox's live action Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tritonal is set to release Painting with Dreams this fall.
