Drew Barrymore hits Las Vegas with friends after divorce last week

Drew Barrymore is putting her divorce behind her in the best way possible -- by heading to Las Vegas!

The actress and producer finalized her divorce from husband, Will Kopelman on Wednesday, Aug 3. – marking the end of their four-year marriage, and she attempted to put the whole thing behind her by heading to Sin City with a couple of close friends.

Barrymore used the hashtag #VegasBaby throughout the weekend and clearly enjoyed herself the whole time. She kicked off the barrage of fun Instagram posts with a snap of herself with a gaggle of friends on a private jet.

"Is this bird going to Vegas? If so yay!!!" the actress, 41, captioned an Instagram photo while riding on a private plane with her "#besties."

During her weekend getaway, the Flower Beauty founder was spotted at the pool, racing go-karts, eating Thai food, and sipping tons of her own Barrymore wine. She also took in performances from magician David Copperfield and hit Jennifer Lopez's show at Caesars.

It seemed like the perfect way to relax and de-stress after what was likely a trying last couple of months. Barrymore was married to Kopelman, an art consultant, for nearly four years and shared her two daughters, 3-year-old Olive and 2-year-old Frankie, with him. The duo announced they were splitting earlier this year and in May, Barrymore opened up about what went wrong.

"There has been this really nice feeling of something very fluid and positive and the opposite of how I felt inside," she revealed. "Everyone has just been so cool and chill and nice about everything that it quelled by own fears and demons about how we sort of have to go through things in life."

This was Barrymore's third divorce.
