A Pokémon Go Obsessed Gymnast And Carmelo Anthony

The 2016 Olympics in Rio are finally here and as we anticipate seeing the Americans bring home as many gold medals as possible, two members of team USA got together for a rather iconic picture.

Seven-foot center DeAndre Jordan from the Los Angeles Clippers standing next to 4'6″ gymnast Ragan Smith represents the biggest and smallest Olympians for the U.S.A.

Smith, 15, was selected as an alternate after Simone Bales, Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian were named to the Olympic team, but if one of them were to withdraw or suffer an injury of some sort, Smith could be called upon as a replacement.

Considering the fact she's only 15-years-old, being named as an alternate is an amazing accomplishment.

One Olympian who doesn't have to worry about being an alternate is DeAndre Jordan.

As usual, the men's basketball team is expected to bring home the gold medal yet again, but one area they're thin at is inside. Sure, they have DeMarcus Cousins and Draymond Green, but neither one of them are known for rim protection, which is why Jordan's value will dramatically increase when they face talented teams such as France and Spain.

Luckily for the young Smith, she doesn't have to worry about going up what must appear to be a giant in Jordan. However, if Smith were to play a friendly game of one-on-one with Jordan, he would surely take it easy on her, right?

One could only hope.
