Lollapalooza 2016: Food, music, & fashion
For most Lollapalooza is all about the music. For us, however, our two favorite things about the festival are the food & fashion. With food vendors from all over the country flying in to showcase their delicious treats, you know you're in for a real treat. The food however isn't the only thing coming in from all over the country, festival-goers all gather to show off their incredible style & it's one of our favorite places to spot new trends & discover brands.
This year two of our favorite companies were part of our Lollapalooza experience. Fashion-wise, we wore Show Me Your Mumu, an incredible, whimsical clothing line made here in the USA. We even got so lucky as to take over their awesome Snpachat during Lolla (username: ShowMeYourMumu)! Keeping us full during the weekend, Momofuku's Milk Bar showed up with cookies & pie that we couldn't help but nosh on all weekend long.
Some of our favorite Milk Bar treats included the Blueberry & Cream Cookie, Crack Pie, & Cornflake Chocolate Chip Marshmallow Cookie.
What we loved most about the Show Me Your Mumu pieces is that they are both SO versatile! We wore a swimsuit as a bodysuit & a slip dress over a t-shirt. We can't wait to wear both again for different uses. As for accessories, the gorgeous turquoise necklace from Bauble Bar went perfectly with the blush hue of the dress & can also be worn with several other looks (we've worn it about 20x since with a plain t-shirt & shorts to easily make a simple look more fashionable).
