Chelsea Mayes went to Cheddar's, a restaurant popular for its fried food and mac 'n cheese, with a big group of friends after church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

She said their interaction with with the waitress was totally normal -- they even laughed and joked around. She said in her Facebook post that she left a generous tip.

Mayes and her friends were completely shocked when they saw what the waitress had posted on Snapchat.

She posted a screenshot of the snap on Twitter along with a response.

The waitress complained about having to work hungover with a group of "n--s" sitting in her section.

"It was just shocking," Mayes told the Daily New Journal. "It was hurtful."

But instead of lashing out, Mayes responded with kindness.

She let them know in her Facebook post that she is actually a kind, pleasant person who loves and prays for her enemies.

Cheddar's has responded, condemning the waitress' behavior in a statement sent to WSMV:

"We, ourselves, were shocked and offended after learning one of our servers had posted comments on social media that were hurtful and derogatory. This type of behavior will never be tolerated in our restaurants. The server was immediately suspended and ultimately terminated after our internal investigation."
