For all of the criticism directed at Donald Trump for failing to unite the Republican Party, Hillary Clinton hasn't had an easy go either. During the Democratic National Convention this week, Bernie Sanders delegates chanted, organized a sit-in at the Wells Fargo Center media tent, and wore glow-in-the-dark shirts to stand out in a sea of Democratic leaders and organizers.

One of Clinton's most crucial missions this fall will be to convert the remaining Bernie fans and undecided voters to her cause—and try to generate some excitement so that his more ardent fans don't just sit the election out. And, Clinton seemed to kick off that campaign into high gear last night. "I want you to know, I've heard you," she said during her DNC keynote, addressing her opponent's voters. "Your cause is our cause."

And it seemed to work on some. Once-undecided voters used the hashtag #ImWithHerNow after her speech to pledge support to the former Secretary of State. Since 11 p.m. ET Thursday night, the hashtag has been used more than 38,000 times.

Not all of the tweets were positive, however. Hundreds of Bernie diehards, Trump supporters and Jill Stein fans tried to hijack the hashtag as it took off. According to a recent poll, 90 percent of loyal Bernie voters would support Clinton over Donald Trump. (It's worth noting that poll didn't give those surveyed the option to choose Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and the Green Party's Stein.)
