Melanie Griffith lets it all hang out in sheer dress, defies age

Melanie Griffith just got on board with the sheer dress trend.

The 58-year-old actress defied age on Wednesday night when she hit an event in Los Angeles wearing a sheer dress without a bra. The black, off-the-shoulder dress had sheer stripes throughout revealing her bare breasts and a set of lacy black thong underwear.

As she turned around to walk the red carpet, her pert posterior was on full display through the sheer dress.Griffith wore her hair back in a pretty updo and polished off the racy style with a diamond necklace and earrings.

The red carpet, which was Hallmark Channel Summer TCA event, was filled to the brim with A-list stars also wearing similarly fun fashions. "Fuller House" star Lori Loughlin also embraced the sheer trend, but in a slightly more modest way with a black sheer dress with floral accents. Mena Suvari went for a wild style with a black dress that featured a furry neckline and a billowing skirt.

And on the more modest front, Candace Cameron Bure, Danicka McKellar and Rachael Leigh Cook all rocked pretty white minidresses with pretty metallic details.

It's safe to say at this red carpet event, Griffith owned the night. Despite being 20 years older than most of the other female stars at the event, she took a fashion risk that paid off.
