Lindsay Lohan speaks out on relationship drama with Egor Tarabasov: 'I was acting out of fear and sadness'
Lindsay Lohan is "taking time" for herself following her recent drama-filled social media posts about fiancé Egor Tarabasov.
The Mean Girls star apologized for airing out her recent relationship drama on social media, in a lengthy essay posted to her Instagram on Tuesday.
"Dear friends. I'm good and well," she began her post, along with a photo of herself on a boat, staring into the distance. "#ATM I am taking time for myself with good friends. I am sorry that I've exposed certain private matters recently. I was acting out of fear and sadness."
"We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public," she wrote. "I have done a lot of soul searching in the past years, and I should have been more clear minded rather than distract from the good heart that I have."

On Saturday, Lohan put Tarabasov on blast in a series of posts to her Instagram, first accusing him of "not coming home tonight," and then followed up with a post of him with another woman, in which she accused him of cheating. She later implied she was pregnant in a tweet linking to an image of herself from her 2009 film, Labor Pains.
"Social media comes with the territory of the business and the world we now live in," Lohan continued. "My intentions were not meant to send mixed messages."
Despite the drama, it seems Lohan is hoping to reconcile with her 23-year-old fiancé, writing, "Maybe things can be fixed... Maybe not.. I hope they can. But I am 30 years old and I do deserve a #GENTLEgiant."
"Life is about love and light. Not anger," she concluded. "Thank you to those who stand by my side."
While Lohan is taking time for herself, it appears Tarabasov is doing the same. A source tells ET the Russian business heir has not been back to Lohan's London home since Saturday morning, and hasn't had any contact with her since. According to the source, the actress changed the locks to her home on Monday, and has employed a bodyguard to prevent Tarabasov from entering the house while she's away.
On Monday, the former child star took to Instagram to request privacy, in a now-deleted post.
"I would appreciate if these speculations regarding my personal life would respectfully come to a halt," she wrote. "Unfortunately, a private matter has become more public than I can control and I would be extremely grateful if my fiancé and myself could discuss our personal matters on our own."
"There are more important things going on in the world than our relationship. Please leave us be to solve our personal matters," she said.
