Eric Hosmer was named the MVP of the All-Star Game on Tuesday night, but according to a report, he's not even keeping his reward.

That's because he's giving it to his dad.

The MVP won a truck after hitting a home run in the second-inning off former Royal Johnny Cueto and an RBI in the third-inning. He apparently hit the ball so hard that it tattooed his bat, leaving an impression of the ink from his baseball:

Hosmer was the first Royals player to hit a home run in the All-Star game since Bo Jackson in 1989.

Immediately after being named the MVP, he made the decision to give the truck to his dad "so he can stop stealing all my cars."

The two Hosmer men selected a black Chevy Colorado over a 50th anniversary Camaro.
