In just 12 months, the pop singer has managed to release her hit single "Do It Again" which went viral online (and amassed over 236 million views on YouTube alone), was named the first-ever fashion director for Madonna's Material Girl line, and solidified her presence as one of the biggest emerging artists of our generation. The model and singer/songwriter may be a regular when it comes to arena stages, but growing up in Guam with seven other siblings, Pia Mia is quick to note that she was a self-proclaimed "shy kid." It wasn't until her school's musical "Cinderella" did Pia Mia realize that she had a knack at performing. Soon, she began posting her covers and original socks to YouTube and quickly hustled her way into the industry.
