Russell Brand confirms he's going to be a dad with hilarious post

Russell Brand Prepares For Fatherhood

Russell Brand is obviously taking on impending fatherhood with a funny stance!

The 41-year-old revealed that he and his girlfriend, Laura Gallacher, are expecting their first child together, in a funny Instagram photo on Friday.

Brand, who is known for his comic relief in movies, shared a picture of himself holding up a copy of Dean Beaumont's The Expectant Dad's Handbook.

He captioned the pic, "Right then. My Mum bought me this. Time to get ready! #trewlit #bookstagram #parenting."

Brand and his leading lady have dated off and on since 2007. After Brand divorced Katy Perry in July 2012, he and Gallacher, 27, a lifestyle blogger, got back together in 2015.

Congrats to the soon-to-be parents!
