This year's festival circuit this year has completely transformed spaces and turned them into destinations for music-lovers all across the country. At this year's Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, country stars took over the beach, letting thousands of fans enjoy their fun in the sun. With record crowds comprised of over 90,000 country music fans, the Florida beach was completely packed.

Ultra Music Festival in Miami also decided to take a quintessential beach town and turn it into a 3 day long haven for DJs and electronic music enthusiasts. Some of the top producers showed up from all over the world to enjoy the Miami weather and spin some of their newest tunes.

But Tortuga and Ultra weren't the only festival that turned one ordinary location into something extraordinary. Electric Daisy Carnival in New York City took over the Citi Field parking lot for two days to deliver non-stop dance music.

And the annual Governors Ball Festival took the 172-acre island in Upper New York Bay into a mini world that showcased all types of genres, from indie rock to rap. It was all set to the backdrop of the iconic green landscape of Governors Island.
