Gretchen Carlson is getting a ton of support less than one day after she filed a lawsuit against Fox News chief executive Roger Ailes, claiming she was wrongfully terminated after he sexually harassed her.

The former "Fox and Friends" host created her own hashtag #StandWithGretchen to generate conversation about her plight as well as start the conversation for other women who are victims of sexual harassment in the workplace.

On her Twitter page, Carlson shared several posts about the support she has received from both fans and media outlets.

One Twitter user also shared a video of a supercut of Fox and Friends broadcasts highlighting some of the most blatant commentary about her looks and how she was treated differently on set than her male co-stars.

And a quick look back in time revealed a 2012 broadcast where Carlson walked off set after her male co-stars commented that "women we're getting into everything from choirs to tennis." Carlson, who couldn't tolerate the commentary, left the set while they were on-air in protest to their controversial comments about women.

And Gretchen's stand against harassment is definitely soaring, with tons of Twitter users opening up about how they #StandWithGretchen.

In her lawsuit, Carlson's lawyers detail years of alleged sexist behavior and wrongdoing at Fox News, less than two weeks after the longtime anchor was fired from her post as host of "The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson" after 11 years with the network.
