Teresa Giudice Breaks Down in "GMA" Interview

Teresa Giudice couldn't hold back the her tears during an emotional pre-taped interview with "Good Morning America" on Tuesday. The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star broke down as she discussed the tough couple of years her family has had and her husband, Joe Giudice's, prison sentence.

"It's hard. We e-mail every day," Teresa admitted. "We talk every day, and I see him every week."

Joe is currently serving 41 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges. Teresa finished her own 11-month sentence late last year.

A tearful Teresa explained that it hasn't just been hard on her, it's been hard on their daughter, Gia Giudice, 15, Gabriella Giudice, 11, Milania Giudice, 10, and Audriana Giudice, 6, who are all now used to having one parent at home.

"They miss their dad, of course—tremendously—just like I do," Teresa explained. "But, you know, they're doing as well as could be expected. They're amazing. They're really strong young girls."

The family's story will play out on the upcoming season of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," which begins on July 10. And now that most of her legal drama is behind her, Teresa says she's learned her lessons and is moving forward.

"You do grow, and you learn from your experiences," she told the "GMA" host, "and that's obviously what happened to me."
