Keri Russell reveals her baby's name and gender

Keri Russell welcomed a baby in May, but has remained mum about her newborn. That is until Friday, when she appeared on the Today show to chat with Matt Lauer.

"He's so good," the Felicity alum said of her new baby, revealing that she had a boy and that her new bundle of joy is named Sam. Good ol' Sam. "He's big and fat and nice," she added.

Russell, 40, welcomed her baby boy with The Americans co-star and partner Matthew Rhys, 41, over Memorial Day weekend.

The actress is already a mom to two kids — River Deary, 8, and Willa Deary, 4 — from her previous marriage with ex-husband Shane Deary, whom she divorced in 2013. This will be Rhys' first child.

In addition to her role as undercover Russian agent Elizabeth on The Americans, which just wrapped up its fourth season in June, Russell stars in the Civil War film Free State of Jones (in theaters now) alongside Matthew McConaughey and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
