We all love to celebrate on the 4th of July, but man's best friend may not be the biggest fan of the holiday.

Anxiety around loud noises, such as thunderstorms and fireworks, can cause some dogs to have panic attacks, but a new drug may help calm their fears.

The FDA has approved Sileo, the first drug on the market designed specifically for 'noise aversion' in dogs.

It represses the chemical in dogs' brains that triggers anxiety and fear.

A syringe of the drug costs $30 and lasts a couple of hours, which could help dog owners in the future.

Animal shelters say July 5th is their biggest day because of scared dogs who run away during fireworks, according to the New York Times.
