It appears Donald Trump's former campaign manager is going to miss out on a big million-dollar book deal.

Politico is reporting Lewandowski was on board to write a book about his time running the billionaire's presidential campaign. The book was reportedly going to be titled "Let Trump be Trump," and was being shopped around to multiple publishers.

One publisher, HarperCollins, offered $1.2 million for Lewandowksi to write the book. Unfortunately, the two sides could not come to an agreement due to Trump's ironclad nondisclosure agreement

Lewandowski previously denied shopping a book deal at all. He tweeted, "Despite false reports to the contrary, I am not writing a book. I am under a strict confidentiality agreement with Mr. Trump."

However, sources say Lewandowski revived the talks last week after he was fired from Trump's campaign.

Politico went on to say HarperCollins wasn't "convinced" that with Lewandowski's firing he wouldn't be able to give all the juicy details of the campaign up to election day.

Lewandowski has not made any statements suggesting any truth to HarperCollins's statement.
